Curious as to who I am and why I'm so darned opinionated? (or warped? Geez, I hope not too much!)

and if you're curious about the Janus comment

January was named after Janus, the god often portrayed with two heads. The word's taken on an darker meaning these days, meaning two faced, etc., but it also meant that Janus looked both into the past even as he looked forward into the future. Both were important and equal.

So for January, after the kitty carols are finished up. I'll be doing a look back at the best of music/dance/etc that I've reported on on this blog (in my opinion, the best...) even as I look forward to the future and all the talent still waiting to be discovered and written about.

And I'll be finishing up the Galaxy Gal adventure storyline...for those reading it, Galaxy Gal and her entourage were just about to confront the current descendent of Bill Gates about the needed piece of the puzzle that will help them save the Universe from the rampaging, out of control, slightly buggy Google Death Ray...

...for those not reading the 'cereal parody' (check out the name of the AI...), none of this will make much sense. Then again, it doesn't make a lot of sense on a good day anyway...but I've never let a little logic stop me. I've spent too much of my life dealing with logic, facts and unfortunately, not many but still, too many nitpicky (insert swear word) types that like to make other people feel small in order to pump up their own egos. 'Pleeb' is dedicated to all those types that take themselves, others or life too seriously or worse, feel that they are somehow superior to the rest of us and are therefore free to lash out at anyone they choose for any reason in any manner.

Unfortunately, there's too many of them in the world currently for comfort--not just the ones we foolishly elect into office but all the wannabe's that don't even manage to accomplish that much and take it out on those around them! Don't be one of those people, please.

Janus is an important month and an important lesson. Look back. Look forward. Think. What have you regreted so far? What challenges are ahead? What are you afraid of? What can you do to make the world (and therefore yourself as well) better?

The only regrets we ever have, when we look back, aren't the things we tried and failed...but the things we never even tried. Make 2007 a year with no regrets. Don't let your fears stop you from at least making the attempt.

Bye for now. Talk later, the next and final kitty poem in a day or so and then the Janus review.
